At the beginning of April this year, I lost my job and was feeling hopeless as I searched for a new one.

With the lockdown that happened in India due to the COVID-19 situation, I tuned in to Pastor Prince’s messages through the church’s online services. I had previously avoided listening to Pastor Prince due to some misconceptions.

What started out as a casual hearing of the sermons turned into attentive listening, and even anticipation for Pastor Prince’s weekly messages. His messages about seeing God as my supplier brought freedom to me. My wife and my children also started to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus.

Last Sunday, it was Pastor Lawrence Lim who preached. My faith was stirred up in me as I listened to his message. When Pastor Lawrence ended his sermon with a prayer for those who were unemployed, I lifted my hands and believed God for a job.

At that time, I had been out of job for more than two months. One week after that prayer, I received a job offer! The entire process was completed within a week. I was selected even though my age is 7 years above the usual age the company was looking to hire for that position. The human resource department also informed me that I was one of the two people selected out of 400 applicants.

Praise the Lord for what He’s doing in my life! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your wonderful sermons, and Pastor Lawrence, for the amazing word preached!
